The new way to freeze baby food! Rapid freezing provides a safe way to feed your kids at home.
Is frozen baby food a staple in your household?
The word “frozen” doesn’t conjure up a pleasing image for most people. They tend to think about how poor frozen food can taste and how it lacks nutritional value. It is a common perception that frozen food isn’t a great way to feed children. But in a household featuring two working parents, time is at a premium, so freezing food is a necessity.
The Treasure Box can come to the rescue as it uses TOMIN Liquid Cryo-Freezing technology. Because it preserves nutritional value and flavor, Treasure Box is great for kids and loved by moms! We interviewed Mrs. Yuna Yukishima, who uses the Treasure Box to freeze baby food.

Just put the kit in your at-home freezer! And instantly transform your appliance into a rapid freezer!
The Treasure Box is a TOMIN kit for use in the home. Simply load a freezer-safe baby food container with baby food and place the container between the liquid packs for rapid freezing.
TOMIN technology uses liquid cooling to freeze food significantly faster than conventional air freezing. Cell destruction is virtually eliminated, preserving quality and allowing you to enjoy delicious frozen food! Quickly freezing baby food in the Treasure Box to use later is a genuine time-saver for busy moms in households where both parents work.
I love having peace of mind when feeding my kids!♪
Mrs. Yukishima tells us that she tries not to buy frozen foods because she doesn’t want to feed her children food containing additives.
Although she has always appreciated the convenience of freezing baby food for later, before she purchased the Treasure Box, she was concerned about the impact on the quality of the food.
White rice, carrots, whitebait, pumpkin, spinach, bananas, and apples are the main baby food ingredients she freezes in the Treasure Box. She takes each individual food and cooks it, runs it through a blender to create the right texture, and places it in small containers for freezing. After thawing, deterioration in quality was particularly slowed for apples and bananas. Conventional freezing would have produced a noticeable change in appearance and a darkening of colors.
Mrs. Yukishima shares her experience with excitement in her voice: “The faces my baby makes when I feed her make me think she is sensitive to taste. She seems to be particularly sensitive to sweet flavors, so I love that the sweetness in foods like pumpkin, carrots, and spinach is retained. It truly gives me peace of mind when thinking about my child’s health to know that the flavors and nutritional value remain intact after freezing!”
A whole new impression – frozen food that stays delicious
Mrs. Yukishima explains that her family bought a new refrigerator last year. It has a no-frost function, so it’s less prone to ice buildup, and the freezing function is great. But the difference was plain to see as soon as they tried the Treasure Box.
They often make and freeze hamburger steaks to serve later to help balance workloads in their dual-income home. She says there’s just a fine frost after thawing, much less than with conventional freezing, and that the flavor is basically the same as that of freshly made food. You could see on her face that she was pleasantly surprised with the results!
She also told a story about purchasing sashimi and ham that were about to expire. The couple froze the foods immediately. To their amazement, hardly any moisture was lost after thawing, and the foods did not have the soggy texture you would typically expect! She shared how impressed they were when they once bought too much at the store, froze the excess in the Treasure Box, and then thawed it. They found that it tasted as if it had never been frozen!
Mrs. Yukishima and her husband had been averse to frozen food because of the quality issues. But now they realize that you can make a great-tasting meal using frozen food and thereby reduce food waste. They’re looking forward to trying out lots of different freshly frozen ingredients.
An important appliance for a child’s development, even beyond the baby food stage
Mrs. Yukishima shares with us how purchasing the Treasure Box has actually enriched her family’s life. “We can now buy a large amount of groceries at one time when things are on sale and then cook and freeze everything. We make fewer trips to the grocery store, which means we can spend more time with our baby as a family. We end up saving money, too, which is obviously something we’re grateful for. It’s wonderful to be able to thaw something immediately before we want to enjoy a tasty meal. And it’s cut down on the time we spend on chores!
Even when we are beyond the baby food stage, this will be an important appliance for the toddler stage. After all, nutrition will always be a concern, and I want to ensure that our meals are good for our entire family.” The couple are planning to use the Treasure Box in even more ways in the future.
This interview gave birth to the idea of using the Treasure Box for baby food. It has inspired us to discover further ways in which the Treasure Box can prove useful.
